Engage in projects related to government advisory, sports, tourism, land development, and public realm design
As a Senior Environmental Planner with this consultancy, you'll be directly involved in high-profile projects, including delivering early works and approvals for a major Olympic Stadium.
The role also involves work on golf course redevelopments, sports facilities, open space tourism projects, and public realm design, along with government advisory and land development activities, bridging environmental approvals with town planning.
The Role :
You will work closely with a Principal and alongside a Director, contributing to the growth of the Environmental Planning team.

Manage and deliver environmental approvals for various major projects
Lead collaboration between environmental inputs and town planning partners
Oversee strategy, reporting, and client engagement
Mentor graduates and ensure quality delivery while maintaining client relationships
Participate in both design and construction phases of projects

Who You'll Work With :
The current Planning team includes a Director, a Principal, and two graduates.
Your role will help fill the senior gap.
The firm employs nearly 30 staff across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, founded by three ex-top tier Directors, maintaining high-quality clients and projects with a less bureaucratic environment.
This company has a clear growth plan, recently opening a Sunshine Coast office and expanding into Northern NSW.
The culture is supportive, autonomous, and commercially focused.
Experience :

6+ years in Environmental or Town Planning, with strong approvals experience essential
Good understanding of QLD Planning Act and Local Government approvals
Experience managing projects and liaising with clients and councils
Either a Town Planner with environmental expertise or an Environmental Scientist focused on planning
