This is a permanent part-time (0.6 FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2025 North Beach Primary School (PS) is about making a difference for all our students through the delivery of a contemporary curriculum and evidenced based pedagogy.

With an enrolment of close to 420 students, it serves a coastal strip which includes the suburbs of Trigg, Waterman and North Beach.
The school is located in close proximity to bushland adjoining Star Swamp which is used for teaching programs.
The Role North Beach PS is seeking a flexible, motivated, proactive School Officer to complement our existing staffing.
As the first point of contact for our school you will be responsible for completing administrative duties including greeting all visitors, answering the telephone and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information.
Suitable applicants should have strong communication skills combined with a high level of customer service and previous experience in an administrative role.
The successful applicant will ideally have a friendly, positive and caring attitude and possess the qualities to promote excellence within our school and to interact with parents and the wider community.
You will play a vital role in ensuring the financial stability of the school, while also assisting in the management the school's assets and supporting administrative staff.
The ideal applicant will be a team player with a positive attitude and a passion for working in a team-oriented culture.
A knowledge of Kaartdijin, RM Finance, RM Billing, HRMIS and Student Information System (SIS) would be desirable.

Demonstrated experience in financial processes and procedures, including the handling of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and /or preparing financial returns.
Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
