Bl Q4 NDdzlgw?si=TECXLM6ck4j_a_Cf How You'll Make an Impact As a Pre-sales Engineer in our Centre of Excellence (COE) across the Pacific, you'll be at the forefront of driving adoption of Eco Struxure Automation Expert (EAE).
You'll bring deep technical expertise to support our sales teams, partners, and customers—delivering best practices, innovative architectures, and advanced troubleshooting that accelerate success.
Working closely with the COE Lead, you'll align technical solutions with our commercial strategy and technology roadmap, influencing decision-makers and supporting customers through the full project lifecycle—from concept to commissioning.
You'll regularly engage clients and partners through in-person presentations, demos, and workshops, with a vehicle provided for customer-related travel.
Key responsibilities : Deliver technical pre-sales support to accelerate sales growth and increase conversion rates using EAEAct as the technical subject matter expert to define and implement advanced automation architectures Collaborate with customers to identify technical requirements and constraints, and propose tailored EAE solutions Clearly articulate and demonstrate the advantages of EAE over conventional automation systems Develop solution architectures and demos that showcase the innovation, efficiency, and value of EAEAbout You You're a technically strong and commercially aware automation expert with a proven ability to design solution architectures that meet diverse customer needs.
With deep knowledge of both legacy and modern systems, you're confident in integrating new technologies and driving innovation across industrial environments, as well as : Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field5+ years of experience in automation solution development and programming Proven ability to design and implement system / solution architectures for industrial applications Deep expertise in PLC programming, SCADA / DCS, and industrial networking Strong knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, PROFINET, Ether Net / IP, etc.)Experience with IIo T, IT / OT convergence, and modern development environments (Windows / Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, virtualization)Proficiency in object-oriented programming and languages such as C / C++, Python, Java Script Networking experience across LAN, WAN, VLAN, and TCP / IP-based protocols Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts A background in embedded software engineering or IT-focused software delivery is highly regarded Why Choose Schneider Electric?Not only are we ranked #1 Time's Most Sustainable Company in the World who are leading the way in industrial automation - we're a great place to work.
