The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our Sydney-based project teams.
You will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of our construction projects through the effective administration of contracts, procurement, cost control and stakeholder coordination.
Working closely with the Project Manager and site team, you'll help ensure financial, contractual and compliance elements of the project run smoothly, from early procurement through to final delivery.
What You'll Do You'll be responsible for managing key contract and commercial functions throughout the project lifecycle, including: Preparing and maintaining procurement programs and purchasing schedules Administering head and subcontractor agreements, including payment claims and variations Managing project cash flow and ensuring the project remains financially sound Monitoring and reporting on project costs, risks and opportunities Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements Attending site meetings and managing documentation such as drawings and revisions Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive performance and outcomes What You'll Bring You are commercially savvy, detail-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.
You'll also bring:5+ years' experience in contract administration or project management roles Solid understanding of head contracts, subcontractor agreements and cost control processes Proficiency in contract administration software — Jobpac experience highly regarded Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and risk management Why Join Mettle?At Mettle, we're not just building projects — we're building the future.
