
Contract Administrator

The role of a Contract Administrator involves assisting the Project Manager in delivering large or complex projects to achieve financial targets and manage contracts administration teams.
Key responsibilities include contributing to the production of project documents, ensuring plans are aligned with project and legislative requirements, and coordinating with the Project Manager to ensure the contracts administration team is adequately resourced and personnel have the necessary competency to deliver the project plans.
- Project Management: Assist the Project Manager in delivering projects to achieve financial targets and manage contracts administration teams.
- Contract Administration: Contribute to the production of project documents, ensure plans are aligned with project and legislative requirements, and coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure the contracts administration team is adequately resourced and personnel have the necessary competency to deliver the project plans.
- Subcontractor Management: Review and approve subcontractor plans for compliance with project plans and specifications, ensure all relevant project plans and requirements are included in subcontractor scopes of work and contracts, and administer the project management, change, and control processes in compliance with the project plans, contractual and legal conditions, time bars, and administrative timeframes.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in contract administration in the commercial sector in Sydney.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond appropriately to a range of project requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Jobpac, Acconex, and Payapps.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing project requirements and priorities.
