Are you looking to kickstart a career in the electrical and mining industry? Hahn Electrical is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team in Kalgoorlie as Electrical Apprentices.

This is a residential role – only candidates living in the Kalgoorlie region will be considered.

The Role

Based in Kalgoorlie, apprentices will work alongside qualified tradespeople in our workshop and on local mine sites, gaining hands-on experience across a wide variety of underground electrical systems, including:

• Preventative maintenance of underground and surface plant electrical infrastructure
• Manufacture and  installation of Switchboards and Substations
• Drill rig maintenance and trailing cables
• Ventilation and Pumping systems
• Underground wiring systems (Ranging from 24v - 33kV volt systems)

This role offers the chance to earn while you learn and build a rewarding long-term career in the electrical industry.

What We're Looking For

• Current manual driver's licence – essential
• Current police clearance (within 3 months) – essential
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Commitment to safety and teamwork
• A genuine interest in the electrical industry

For school leavers: Excellent attendance and solid academic results are essential. A Certificate II in Electrotechnology will be highly regarded.

Mature-aged applicants: Encouraged to apply.

All applicants must be able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
