Clerk Grade 7/8, $113,574 - $125,720 + 12% Superannuation Ongoing role, based in Mascot NSWAbout the team The Aboriginal Languages Trust is a growing agency committed to promoting, nurturing and growing Aboriginal languages across NSW.
We work in genuine partnership with Aboriginal communities, the Trust Board and government to deliver long-term, strategic outcomes in language revitalisation.
As part of the Community Engagement team, you'll join a dedicated group of Aboriginal professionals working across NSW to strengthen relationships, support cultural expression, and amplify the voices of communities in shaping our programs About the Role The Project Officer works as part of a team to support and deliver projects that progress the establishment and ongoing functions of the Aboriginal Languages Trust.
The Project Officer will build and maintain relationships with Aboriginal communities and stakeholders across New South Wales.
The role includes project management, community engagement program planning, event management, monitoring and reporting, and consultation and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
The Trust team work closely with the Aboriginal Languages Trust Board (the Trust Board), other government and community stakeholders.

A bit about you Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled at building strong relationships and managing stakeholder interests, especially when working with Aboriginal communities Consultation & Communication: Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with and understand issues impacting on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples Project Management: You have demonstrated experience in project management and support services, including report and brief preparation, resource coordination, and project plan implementation and monitoring Think and Solve Problems: Build knowledge and understanding of the range of local, regional and state Aboriginal languages activities to facilitate the development of best-practice resources to support communities on their language learning journey.
