Job Title: Community Engagement OfficerAbout the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing support to our community.

You will work closely with our team to ensure that our library services meet the needs of our diverse community. This will involve working on various projects and initiatives to promote literacy, lifelong learning, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to our library patrons
  • Assist customers in accessing library resources, technology, and online platforms
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and deliver community programs and events
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in customer service or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends
