Food And Beverage Supervisor

The Role
Alba Thermal Springs & Spa is a luxury spa and hot springs destination located in Fingal.
Open for breakfast, lunch & dinner, Thyme's menu has been created by well-known Melbourne chef, restauranteur, cookbook author and television presenter, Karen Martini – showcasing locally sourced, seasonal produce served alongside excellent coffee, herbal tea blends, local cold-pressed juices and signature cocktails.
The wine list highlights the Peninsula's many local vineyards, distilleries and breweries.
We are expanding our team in the restaurant and seeking a full-time or part-time Food & Beverage Supervisor to assist with the day to day running of our onsite restaurant, Thyme.
The Food & Beverage Supervisor provides hands on support to the entire Front of House team and:

leads by example to develop a positive team culture focussed on a very high level of guest experience.
supervises Food and Beverage operations across the venue
assists the Food and Beverage Manager with ordering, receiving of goods, inventory management and stocktake.
coordinates between restaurant / bar and other relevant departments to ensure that preparations for events involving restaurant and bar service have been made.
training and mentoring new staff.

We will provide flexibility with days and hours across a rotational roster.
Weekend and night availability is a must.

You have experience in a similar role

You are guest centric, a team player, and have a positive attitude

You have excellent personal presentation and strong communication skills

You are capable, reliable and responsible

You have a valid visa or working rights for Australia
