About the Opportunity This exciting opportunity for a Facility Manager based in Dubbo offers a pivotal leadership role overseeing delivery operations across a large regional catchment.
You'll be responsible for managing corporate teams and contractor networks across Dubbo, Mudgee, Narromine, Wellington, and the Dubbo Parcel Delivery Centre (PDC), ensuring a high-quality, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective delivery service.
You'll lead strategic and operational planning to optimise network performance, consistently meet or exceed service KPIs such as DIFOT, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
You'll take ownership of people leadership, including performance management, coaching, and resolution of day-to-day people tasks.
The role also demands strong data literacy—using daily dashboards and performance metrics to guide team conversations, inform decisions, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
You'll collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the business, including Business Partners, LPOs, and delivery teams, requiring regular travel across the catchment to maintain alignment and engagement.
What You'll deliver with us Lead operational delivery across four regional centres and contractor networks to ensure high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective services.
Drive process efficiencies and productivity initiatives to meet service targets such as DIFOT and enhance operational performance Build a culture of continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma principles and foster strong engagement through a clear communication strategy.
Manage contractor performance, support onboarding, and collaborate with Network Partners to ensure compliance and responsiveness.
Driver safety initiatives and embed a proactive safety culture through trend analysis, risk assessment, and compliance with OH&S policies.
Lead change management within an industrial environment, ensuring effective communication and maintaining staff engagement.
Provide hands-on people leadership, including performance, conduct, team development, coaching, and resolution of day-to-day people matters.
Use data dashboards and performance metrics to drive decision-making, support daily team discussions, and identify opportunities for process improvement and KPI achievement.
Build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the business, including corporate teams, contractors, and local delivery sites.
About You You're a confident and hands-on leader with a passion for operational excellence and team development.
You thrive in dynamic environments and bring a proactive approach to managing people, performance, and safety.
With a strong grasp of data and metrics, you make informed decisions that drive service outcomes and continuous improvement.
You're comfortable navigating industrial settings and independently resolving people matters, and you know how to build trust and influence across diverse stakeholder groups.
You'll also bring: Proven experience in operational leadership within a complex, multi-site environment.
Strong people leadership skills Demonstrated ability to use data dashboards and performance metrics to guide decision-making and drive process improvements.
Experience managing contractor networks and ensuring compliance with safety, service, and contractual standards.
Financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost control, and resource planning.
A track record of leading change initiatives and embedding a safety-first culture.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across corporate teams, contractors, and delivery centres.
Familiarity with delivery performance standards such as DIFOT, ETA, scanning accuracy, and customer satisfaction (NPS).
Knowledge of safety metrics and risk assessment practices, including manual handling and incident response.
