About The Role Are you a dynamic and passionate individual residing in Brisbane? Join our esteemed team at The Byron Co-Op as a Business Development Manager (BDM).
In this role, you will play a vital part in promoting and expanding the reach of our consciously crafted health products including Mindful Foods & Stardust.
As a dedicated advocate of our values and an expert in Food as Medicine, you will contribute to our mission of empowering individuals through education and conscious wellness.
The full-time role offers a competitive remuneration package including superannuation(12%), car allowance ($18 K) & tools of trade including lap top and mobile phone.
Responsibilities
• Identify and generate new leads within the Health & Fresh Food Channels (organic and fresh food environments), establishing relationships with buyers, owners, and managers.
• Engage potential clients in a warm and informative manner, highlighting the exceptional value and benefits of our consciously crafted health products.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to understand evolving needs, preferences, and emerging trends in the health, wellness, organic & sustainability market.
• Present and demonstrate our premium products to potential clients, showcasing their exceptional quality, potency, and authentic craftsmanship.
• Collaborate closely with the National Sales Manager to develop customised sales strategies and promotional campaigns tailored to the Health Food & Fresh Food channels
• Negotiate and finalise sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions that align with our values and benefit all stakeholders.
• Provide outstanding customer service and support, promptly addressing enquiries and offering in-depth product knowledge to clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements in the Health Food channel, positioning Mindful Foods and 3rd party brands as leading, premium brands.
• Meet or exceed sales targets, actively contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
• Maintain a professional and polished appearance, representing The Byron Co-op.
• Hold a current QLD driver's license, as regular travel will be required.
• Country QLD travel is required.
Occasional interstate travel may be required.
• Participate in comprehensive product training sessions to deepen your knowledge of our premium health brands.
Qualifications
• Qualifications and or study in Naturopathy, Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, or Complimentary Health Care is essential.
• Sales Representative experience within the Health Food & Fresh Food Channels is highly regarded although not essential.
Sales experience in the Health Food channel is a must
• Passion for personalised nutrition is essential.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven record of establishing rapport, trust and effectively conveying the value of health products.
• Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, demonstrating a passion for achieving targets and driving business growth.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
