Add expected salary to your profile for insights This dynamic healthcare group is in the midst of strong and sustained growth - both organically and via acquisition - and is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to lead its core finance function.
Reporting to an experienced and supportive CFO, you'll lead a small but capable team across finance and payroll, managing the delivery of internal reporting, compliance, and process improvement.
Based in Brisbane's inner suburbs, you'll also get exposure to group-level strategy, business partnering, and integration activity as the business continues to expand.
This is a prime opportunity for a technically strong and qualified Senior Accountant ready to take the next step, or for an existing Finance Manager who thrives in dynamic healthcare environments.
Either way, you'll play a key role in shaping a growing business that blends commercial focus with strong values and a collaborative culture.
What You'll Be Doing Lead the month-end close and all financial & management reporting Oversee compliance (BAS, IAS, FBT, payroll tax), ensuring accuracy and timeliness Manage external audit and tax relationships Prepare year-end financial statements and reporting packs for the board Oversee revenue recognition processes and billing system accuracy Mentor a small team including Finance Officers, a Financial Accountant, and Payroll Support integration of acquisitions and contribute to group-wide initiatives What You'll Bring CA/CPA qualified with experience in audit, business services, or commercial finance Strong understanding of month-end, statutory reporting, and compliance Comfortable engaging with external stakeholders like auditors and tax agents A natural leader who enjoys mentoring and creating clarity in fast-moving environments Industry experience/knowledge in healthcare or patient-focused services is a bonus (but not essential)Why This Business?This is a modern healthcare group with a genuine people-first culture, a clear strategic growth plan, and a track record of successful acquisitions and innovation.
