Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Management Accountant to support our financial operations within our Facilities Management Unit based in Macquarie Park, NSW.

  • Provide Financial Support: Assist the Finance Business Partner and operational teams with financial analysis and reporting.
  • Review Cost Structures: Identify potential financial efficiencies and areas of concern across contracts.
  • Deliver Timely Reporting: Provide accurate financial reporting against budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and KPIs.
  • Monitor Financial Performance: Highlight key risks and opportunities for the business.
  • Support Payroll and Headcount Reporting: Assist with payroll and headcount reporting against agreed staffing levels.
  • Assist Budget Holders: Support operational budget holders in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.
  • Review Fleet Policies: Periodically review fleet policies and costings for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support Audit Processes: Assist with internal and external audit processes.
Requirements
  • CPA Qualification: Current CPA qualification or near completion.
  • Management Accounting Experience: Proven experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or business partnering.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and financial reporting skills.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
  • Proactive Approach: A proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused approach.
