Contracts Officer

About the roleselectability is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive contracts officer to join our team.
Reporting to the contracts coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the management of block-funded programs by working closely with funders and internal teams to ensure agreements are implemented effectively and deliverables are met.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:assist with interpretation of block funded contracts and related operational requirementsensure all contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organisational policiesprepare clear and accurate reports to support decision-making and program oversightwork closely with internal teams to ensure program deliverables are understood and metmaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contractual documents and reporting requirementsliaise with internal and external stakeholders to support smooth communication and resolve any issues as they ariseidentify potential risks in contractual agreements and suggest mitigation strategiesprovide administrative and operational support to the Contracts Coordinator as neededcontribute to the continuous improvement of contract and program management processes If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated to support the success of block-funded programs through effective contract management and teamwork, we encourage you to apply for the Contracts Officer role at selectability.
About you To be considered for this rewarding role you will have great interpersonal skills and the ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
To be successful you must:certificate IV in business (or have 2+ years' experience in a similar position)experience in community development, social services, or a related field (highly desirable)ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individualsstrong skills in Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excelstrong attention to detail with the ability to interpret contracts and program requirementsexcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staffexceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Role requirementstravel to selectability sites and external locations may be required from time to timeoccasional out of hours work may be required from time to timea Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You" completion certificatea current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence About the offer The contracts officer is a fulltime or part-time position based in Townsville.
