Your new role:
As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting Allied Health Professionals to deliver high-quality patient care across the community.
Working within the Rehab@Home team, you will assist in providing treatments, supporting patients, and ensuring services are delivered safely and effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
Deliver individual and group interventions delegated by Allied Health Professionals.
Assist with personal care, transport, therapy programs, and equipment setup.
Provide feedback and contribute to patient records in line with organisational standards.
Support team collaboration, quality outcomes, and safe service delivery.
About you:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual who thrives in a team environment and is committed to patient-centred care.
You will have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently under supervision, and a willingness to support continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience providing patient support and delegated interventions in a healthcare setting.
Strong teamwork and communication skills, with cultural sensitivity and respect.
Ability to manage time effectively, work within scope of practice, and seek guidance when needed.
Commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work and contributing to safe, inclusive care.
