About the role
The role of Crew Leader is responsible for the delivery of general maintenance, predominantly in the area of roads and drainage., You will oversee a team of staff and contractors delivering both planned and reactive maintenance works, coordinating road, drainage and civil works projects.
It is a role where leadership meets technical expertise and where your decisions will have a visible, lasting impact on the community.
This role will also require you to be our First Aider at Mangrove Mountain Depot.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Valid Construction General Induction card - NSW Work Cover or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
Current MR Licence or higher
Current Provide First Aid certificate or willing to obtain within 4 weeks of commencement
Current RMS Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Plans Certificates (Blue & Yellow Cards) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
Proven experience in civil maintenance of roads, drains, and associated works
Confident leadership skills with the ability to get the best from your team and achieve project targets
Strong communication and planning skills

Other important information

The commencing salary for this position is up to $68 K.
Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $78.8 K on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation
Tool of trade vehicle is offered
We have a permanent full-time role available
This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
This role is located at the Mangrove Mountain Depot
