We're on the hunt for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager – Furniture to take ownership of our furniture operations.
This hands-on leadership role is crucial to ensuring our premium inventory is impeccably maintained, accurately dispatched, and delivered on time for events across the state.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the furniture warehouse, ensuring all stock is clean, presentable, in working order and available to meet event schedules Use Point of Rental (POR) to manage dispatches, returns, inventory, and warehouse workflows efficiently Ensure 100% order accuracy in picking and dispatching furniture in line with documentation Manage delivery and return logistics, meeting customer expectations on timing and presentation Maintain accurate inventory, including reporting and managing lost or damaged items Implement and improve the full "shelf-to-shelf" cycle of stock handling Uphold rigorous quality control standards, ensuring items leave the warehouse event-ready Maximise team efficiency, manage labour costs, and maintain rosters in line with workload Lead with a strong safety culture, identifying and mitigating hazards and promoting WHS best practices Ensure warehouse layout and setup is optimised for space, safety and workflow Manage administration, staff rosters, delivery runs, and team productivity Collaborate with the Structures Manager and Sales team to ensure seamless operational execution Oversee storage conditions, ensuring all stock is protected and well-maintained Be hands-on in loading and unloading vehicles when required Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of new warehouse staff Foster a positive team environment, maintaining morale, professionalism and high performance Perform any other reasonable tasks aligned with the scope of the role What You'll Bring: Proven experience in warehouse, logistics or hire operations.
