Overview We are seeking a commercially minded and agile Financial Accountant who thrives in a high-performance, collaborative environment and demonstrates an unwavering focus on delivering quality outcomes for the business and its stakeholders.
You will be adept at managing and building relationships both internally and externally.
Operating within a flat structure that provides direct access to senior management allows your contributions to truly make an impact.
Responsibilities Preparation of financial statements Budgeting and forecasting Managing accounts payable/receivable and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships Overseeing cash flow and treasury to support business stability Delivering accurate month-end reconciliations and reporting Ensuring compliance through timely BAS, PAYG, and statutory lodgements Preparing and delivering insightful reporting to management and Boards Reviewing and improving business processes Managing and overseeing the external audit process Supporting ad hoc projects and business initiatives as required Qualifications1–2 years of experience in a financial or professional services environment University qualification in Finance or Accounting CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification Outstanding critical thinking and analytical skills In-depth understanding of business processes Ability to manage and prioritise work effectively Ability to build and develop strong relationships Employment details Hybrid working model Excellent opportunities for development and progression Preference for Australian PR or citizen, sponsorship may be considered for exceptional candidates who meet the criteria Sponsorship may be considered for exceptional candidates who meet the criteria and are excited to build a long-term career in Finance in Brisbane.
