Established in 2015, JC Civil Projects Pty Ltd delivers professional infrastructure support services to the civil, mining and construction industries in Australia and overseas.
We provide estimating, tender management, quantity surveying, strategic planning, design development, delivery and certification, engineering, and construction services to both private and public sector clients – ranging from SME's, Tier 1-2 Contractors, Local Councils, State Governments, and Asset Owners.
With current planned major infrastructure activity and Olympics 2032 on the horizon, we're looking to grow our pre-contracts team with a talented mid-senior civil estimator experienced in first principles construction estimating.
Reporting to the Principal Civil Estimator you will work across a diverse portfolio of clients and projects, including roads, bridges, earthworks, public utilities, dams, pipelines, drainage and pump stations, and mining infrastructure works.
Minimum 5 years' civil estimating experience with onsite project experience in the construction industry Tertiary qualification in engineering, quantity surveying or similar is preferred but not essential Knowledge of construction processes, operations, and methodologies Experience in recognising and understanding implications in programs Advanced time management skills supporting your ability to meet tight deadlines Well-developed communication skills to assist in client meetings and to manage internal reviews and approvals Ability to deliver competitive estimates from first principles to project start up A proven background managing successful tenders up to $100 million Strong commercial acumen Software and systems: Asta Power Project; or We are a proud and privately owned Australian company consisting of personable, easy going and like-minded people.
