• Developing and executing global and regional initiatives such as UBS Collective Impact, Social Finance initiative, and strategic partnerships.
• Adapting global philanthropy services to the specific needs of Australia/New Zealand and implementing a structured philanthropy advisory process for clients from GWM, IB, and AM.
• Systematically developing the business pipeline through CA/bankers education, CRGs, client events, and positioning.
• Generating revenue from clients involved in philanthropy services once the offering is established.
• Building a knowledge base and thought leadership through research and academic access.
• Collaborating with local management to enhance the business's industry positioning.
Your team UBS Social Impact and Philanthropy is a global team of nearly 150 experts dedicated to bringing clients' social impact visions to life.
We support clients worldwide in achieving their philanthropic goals through advice, insights, experiences, and execution services, employing an investment-based approach to address social and environmental issues.
We seek an experienced professional to join our Australia and New Zealand team, focusing on Philanthropy Advisory, advising clients on strategy, growth planning, and social impact approaches.
Your expertise We are looking for a team player who thrives in a dynamic, global environment and can handle diverse challenges with multiple stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and philanthropy, capable of establishing UBS's philanthropy capabilities to position us as a leading provider in Australia and New Zealand.
Requirements include:
• Industry experience in philanthropy, advising family offices and institutional clients on managing or structuring philanthropic engagements.
• Proven success in business development, including strategy, planning, leadership, stakeholder management, and communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and external stakeholders.
• Creativity, strong social and presentation skills.
• Flexibility and resilience under stress.
