Myer is looking for an Insights Analyst to deliver actionable data-driven insights to support the Merchandise team.
This role involves analysing and interpreting data and transforming into summarised tables and visualisations required by the Insights Lead and Business Partner.
Exciting new opportunity in our Loyalty and Content department Join our growing MYER team Flexible hybrid working model – mix of working in our Docklands Support Office and Work-From-Home About the role: Analyze and interpret large datasets to uncover trends and opportunities for the Merchandise team.
Develop actionable insights tailored to merchandise-specific needs, such as category performance, customer behavior, and market trends.
Assist the Insights Lead in preparing and delivering presentations and reports for key stakeholders Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports to provide regular updates on key metrics for the Merchandise team.
Support the automation of reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accessibility.
Conduct analysis of customer segmentation, purchasing patterns and market trends.
Collaborate with the Insights Lead to extract and format the data required for TPC deep dive packs and supplier presentations.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data in all analyses and reporting.
Identify and suggest enhancements to data analysis tools and processes About you: Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Marketing, Mathematics, or a related field.
Proven experience in an insights or analytics role preferably within retail or FMCG.
Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights that influence business outcomes.
Experience collaborating with stakeholders to align analytics work with business needs Strong proficiency in data tools and technologies, including SQL and Excel.
Ability to transform raw data into meaningful insight Proficiency (desirable) in tools like Micro Strategy, Big Query, Google Analytics, and Marketing Research.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to present data in a meaningful way for non-technical audiences.
