Job Description

As a Merchandise Planner, you will maximise the profitability of the General Merchandise business by ensuring we have the right mix and quantity of product at the right time.
Key responsibilities include:

Manage our OTB to ensure we have the correct stock levels to achieve our sales.
Own the allocation and replenishment strategy for our Company stores.
Produce range plans and category plans seasonally.
Work on promotional performance and trade plans both for current and future trade.
Review weekly and month-end reporting to make trade and stock conclusions and recommendations.
Run post-seasonal reports with key metrics and learnings to action going forward.
Maximise stock holding in our company stores and ensuring our allocations are set correctly.
Analyse units and provide the buying team with key volume and category insights to assist in their ranging
Troubleshoot any systems issues with our internal system as well as our warehouse system.

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful in the role, you will have:

Minimum 4 years' merchandise planning experience
Advanced Excel skillset
Financial acumen
High level of attention to detail
Good with systems and building reports
Great multi-tasker
Can thrive in a fast paced environment
