This marks Australia's second time hosting the event, after previously staging it in 2006, and follows the success of co-hosting the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
You will be part of a Local Organising Committee (LOC), which has been established for the sole purpose of delivering the 2026 edition of the AFC Women's Asian Cup in Australia.
This prestigious event will bring together 12 nations in a tournament structured into three groups of four.
We are eager to create another tournament that celebrates women's football and multicultural Australia and also delivers legacy outcomes for football and Australian society more broadly.

Your Next Big Match Please note that this role is fixed term until 31st March 2026.
Coordinate and support communication between the LOC and various stakeholders, including government bodies and the Football Family, while managing meeting schedules and drafting key communications.
Monitor and track Host City Agreement obligations using project management tools, maintaining records of milestones and assisting with required reporting.
Support event logistics including guest list management, RSVP tracking, and preparation of accurate VIP/VVIP bios and protocol materials.
Assist in formatting, preparing, and distributing key documents and maintaining up-to-date contact lists for all stakeholders.
Provide general admin support to leadership, help with meetings, presentations, and manage internal systems for document and data access.
Support internal coordination by assisting with daily team tasks, meetings, and ensuring timely completion of follow-ups.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong organisational, time-management skills, and high attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point); familiarity with event management software is a bonus.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage shifting priorities, and take initiative.
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, proactive, and eager-to-learn mindset Must demonstrate the ability to work with agility, foster trust, embrace inclusivity, collaborate as one united team, and consistently strive for excellence.
