You will collaborate with talented professionals working in the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) space on iconic projects to drive future ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.
What you'll do : Deliver ITS and lighting engineeringsolutions across all project phases—from concept to construction.
Design electrical systems for lighting, signals, and roadside infrastructure.
Use tools like Auto CAD, AGI32, Power CAD , and more to bring your designs to life.
Engineer network and communication systems for major transport projects.
Support design verification, client relationships, and business development initiatives.
Opportunities to consult on emerging technologies like electric vehicle infrastructure and connected and automated vehicles.
This role can be based in WSP in Australia's Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast offices.
About You You're a degree qualified Electrical Engineer and you've been stuck in traffic knowing that there must be better, safer, and more innovative ways to keep our communities moving.
Maybe you've even had an idea about how you could apply your skills to make this happen Perhaps you know about Intelligent Transport Systems already, or maybe you have the best festive season lighting display in your street because you love designing electrical systems? You will bring the following skills and attributes : At least 2 years' experience in an Electrical Engineering role.
Experience with ITS, signals, or lighting will be well-regarded.
Proficiency in Auto CAD and other engineering design software.
Experience working in design teams and delivering high-quality engineering packages.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
RPEQ / Chartered status in Electrical Engineering (or working towards it) is desirable.
