
Business Development Manager

As a leading hotel developer, we are a trusted partner to some of the world's most recognised hotel brands, currently including Holiday Inn Express, voco, Sebel, Hotel Indigo and Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants.
About the role Working closely with our Senior Director of Sales, you'll build a clear and credible vision for our sales teams.
You'll identify, create and nurture opportunities to drive growth and revenue across our portfolio of Hotels with a focus on our Brisbane luxury & lifestyle hotels.
Tasks & responsibilities Responsible for the acquisition and retention of accounts in Australia and business profitability of Pro-invest Hotels (PIH) and Vista Hospitality portfolio.
Prospecting and converting new customers Develop and implement short and long-term sales strategies for the business, to ensure revenue and room night goals are achieved.
Actively pursue opportunities to enlarge the sales base, create an ongoing pipeline, and successfully shift business from the competition through active engagement with the customer via voice conversations.
Develop and maintain strong relations, contact with key decision makers, and key influencers that are relevant and aligned to the business.
Review business performance and understand the dynamics of the local market, demand generators, economic and consumer trends.
Qualifications & experience Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales related area with proven track record.
Ability to prospect and convert new customers.
In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques.
Ability to work independently.
Strong influencer and persuader.

Verbal and written communication skills.
