Your new role As our new Power Systems Senior Consultant in our energy unit, you will be part of a growing team with highly experienced members in Australia.
We conduct studies and act as a technical advisor to some of the largest renewable energy projects in the country.
You will play a pivotal role in our organization, responsible for the Power Systems portfolio in Australia.
Your key responsibilities will be: Act as the lead advisor to clients, helping resolve project challenges, develop Owner's standard requirements, review technical submissions from OEM vendors and EPC Contractors, and coordinate with local and international experts.
Manage time, quality, and financial aspects of projects and proposals to meet deadlines and success criteria.
Serve as a power engineer, guiding and reviewing designs for large generator interconnections in onshore and offshore environments, with knowledge of local networks and requirements, including reviewing electrical system studies and calculations.
Ensure Ramboll QA/QC procedures are followed, understanding and implementing relevant codes and standards.
Build client relationships and communicate technical knowledge effectively, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Assist with performance management and mentoring of team members.
Lead business development and proposal efforts in the Power Systems area.

About you We support your growth from day one, fostering your personal and professional development.
To succeed in this role, the following qualifications, skills, and capabilities are preferred: Electrical engineering degree (B.
Eng., BS, or MS); Chartered Professional Engineer status is highly preferred.
Expert knowledge of electrical systems and components within the Australian context.
Passion for making a difference in the green energy transition.15+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in large-scale renewables design or project development.
Significant project experience, ideally in a similar role.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and foster continuous learning.
Advanced understanding of project development stages: siting, feasibility, conceptual design, FEED, procurement, and EPC delivery.
