As the Site Lead you will play a key role in leading the Brisbane site to meet the industry benchmark in all areas of operational discipline, whilst establishing and maintaining a cohesive culture that achieves the outcomes of the business and wider organisation.This role oversees all functions of the site, including the technical disciplines, human resources, and financial controls.Our client is an industry leading chemical manufacturer who pride themselves on their innovative approach to supporting their clients with premium quality products and service.Fixed-term 18 month contract.
Key Responsibilities: Key tasks of this role include but are not limited to:
• Provide leadership, management, and direction for the Brisbane plant
• Sustain a comprehensive Safety Management System, including OHS, Process Safety and Mechanical & Electrical Integrity Systems
• Drive site to achieve optimum productivity, regulatory compliance, asset integrity, quality, and cost effectiveness
• Accountable for full compliance with all relevant legislative requirements and regulations
• Accountable for the preparation, review, management, and execution of the annual CAPEX program for the siteKey Requirements:
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering or relevant Science Degree highly desirable
• 5+ years' experience as a senior leader, with Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or FMCG manufacturing industry experience
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a MHF highly regarded
• Safety leadership, workplace culture, management of major emergencies and emergency preparedness essential
