About the role: Looking to influence technology outcomes and drive vendor performance that delivers real value?We're seeking a Technology Vendor & Governance Specialist to play a key role in managing strategic vendor relationships, contracts, and performance across our Technology & Digital Solutions function.
In this role, you'll help shape how we engage with our technology partners, ensuring they deliver on commitments, meet operational needs, and support Unitywater's evolving business priorities.
You'll also contribute to governance processes that enable our technology teams to perform at their best, creating transparency, accountability, and alignment between vendors and internal stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team, where your expertise in vendor management and governance will directly support digital transformation and long-term value creation.

To contribute to this, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role: The requirements for the position are: What we're looking for: Proven experience in managing external technology vendor relationships and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations including reporting of risks and managing performance, disputes and issues.
Proven experience of managing technology contracts including cloud based multi-sourced and outsourced services including Iaa S, Paa S and Saa S.
Technical experience in ICT operations and service delivery.
Strong experience developing and embedding technology governance and risk frameworks.
Recent experience of Service Now ITSM.
Background in setting and managing IT budgets and financial forecasts.
Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience with Queensland Government contract and procurement frameworks.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, Law or a related discipline.
