Job Opportunity in Digital Design

We are seeking a qualified Lecturer to contribute to the growth and development of our undergraduate Design portfolio.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for equipping students with cutting-edge design technologies across games, interactive media, and real-time rendering systems.
  • Key responsibilities include learning and teaching practices within the design discipline, supervising honours students and HDR candidates, and contributing to governance and school capacity-building activities.

This role requires an expert in digital design, game art and programming, animation, and immersive media with a thorough understanding of contemporary software and hardware.

Requirements:

  • A doctoral qualification in a relevant digital design or creative technology related field.
  • Proficiency in advanced technical skills such as programming, game engines, and creative AI tools.
  • A solid record as an effective educator with the ability to design, develop, and deliver higher education curricula.
  • Evidence of scholarly and creative outputs with high impact and engagement with industry or publications in high-ranking journals.
  • Expertise in applying digital technologies in design teaching, research, or professional practice.

Desirable:

  • Research expertise in human-computer interaction, augmented and virtual reality, and 3D animation.
  • Expertise in game engines and industry certifications in programming and digital design tools.
  • Leadership experience in course and program coordination in Higher Education.
