SummaryAre you driven by a passion for science and improving patient outcomes? We are on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our Cardiometabolic team.
Based exclusively in Victoria, this role offers the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of science, healthcare, and innovation.As an MSL, you will be a trusted scientific expert, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and serving as a critical bridge between our organisation and the medical community.
Your insights and expertise will support the advancement of our Cardiometabolic portfolio, helping to shape the future of care in this essential therapeutic area.About The RoleEstablish and maintain collaborative partnerships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other external stakeholders across Victoria.
Serve as a highly credible and trusted scientific resource to the medical community, delivering up-to-date information on our Cardiometabolic therapies and research.
Actively contribute to the development and execution of medical strategies for the Cardiometabolic portfolio in alignment with business goals.
Provide support for both internal and external education initiatives, including training programs and medical content development, ensuring alignment with scientific standards.
Deliver field insights by gathering and sharing feedback on medical trends, competitive intelligence, and unmet needs in the Cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
Support investigator-initiated trials (IITs), research projects, and partnerships that advance medical and scientific knowledge.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Marketing, Clinical Development, and Sales, to ensure alignment and shared objectives.
What You BringA strong scientific background, supported by tertiary qualifications in Science, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, or a related field.
Advanced degrees (Ph D, Pharm D, MD) are highly regarded.
Previous experience as an MSL or in a similar externally facing role is preferred.
Expertise in Cardiometabolic diseases or related therapeutic areas is highly desirable.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
A deep understanding of clinical data and research methodologies, coupled with strong analytical abilities.
Self-motivation and organizational skills to effectively manage responsibilities within the Victoria region.
