Job Overview: The Director of Business Development is responsible for conducting high-level sales activities in designated geographic markets to achieve profitable growth and meet revenue objectives.
Responsibilities include identifying customer needs, developing financial and risk management solutions, and securing customer commitment.
Key Responsibilities: Achieve sales targets for retention and market penetration.
Maintain account relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless onboarding of new business.
Identify and evaluate new sales leads; conduct prospecting meetings; qualify potential customers.
Develop sales strategies and explore new opportunities within the designated geography.
Analyze customer needs and promote suitable products/services.
Manage current accounts effectively.
Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
Prepare sales reports with key metrics.
Monitor industry trends and competitive products; recommend service improvements.
Represent MNX at events and trade shows.
Collaborate with Marketing and Internal Sales teams to enhance customer experience.
Participate in educational and professional development activities.
Assist other departments as needed.
Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
8+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in sales management.
Award-winning sales record, especially in B2 B roles.
Experience in transportation sales preferred.
Proven ability in sales planning, proposals, and value selling.
Track record of achieving sales goals.
