
Policy Analyst

The Policy Analyst will be responsible for policy analysis and research, supporting project management and the preparation of advice to executive management and Ministers with a specific focus on emissions policy and support for national coordination.
The Successful Candidate Will Have Policy experience and a sound knowledge of climate change policy and/or emissions management.
Strong analytical skills and policy experience in researching and developing policy recommendations on complex issues with a diverse range of stakeholders, often under tight timeframes.
Organisational and project management skills, and the interpersonal skills required to represent the department in forums and build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Writing coordination, and project management skills.
Experience or knowledge of agricultural industries would be highly regarded.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications A relevant tertiary degree would be well regarded.
This is a fixed term position available for a period of 2 years.
The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
