The Role A new opportunity has become available for an Antenna Engineer to join our team.
This role is based at our Bayswater manufacturing facility in Melbourne.
Responsibilities: Direct responsibility for antenna design, prototyping and testing.
Working with Product Managers and other members of RFI's engineering team to explore antenna performance and design trade-offs.
Incorporation of design for manufacturing principles into antenna design.
Responsible for simulation, parameter tuning, optimisation and modelling.
Responsible for field testing, troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis.
Conduct of RF data processing and feature extractions.
Contribute to process improvement as required.
Technical documentation and report writing.
About you: Master's degree In Communications, Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
Experience working in an R&D environment to design and develop innovative antenna solutions.
Experience with MIMO antenna design for operation within international cellular bands including phase shifting, beam manipulation and AISG.
Sound knowledge of RF circuit design principles, including simulation and optimisation to productization.
Experience in building, testing, and verifying product from concept to manufacture.
Experience working within a project-based engineering environment.
You are a skilled problem solver with a proactive, can-do attitude.
