Are you a strategic leader with a passion for credit operations and team development? We're looking for a Credit Assessment Processing Manager to lead a Home Loan and Auto Lending credit department - driving performance, compliance alignment, and workflow excellence for a leading Australian Lender.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Credit Teams: Manage Home Loan and Auto Lending credit departments, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Align with Compliance: Partner closely with Compliance to ensure assessment practices meet regulatory and internal standards.
  • Support Team Leaders: Provide daily guidance across credit decisioning, systems, SLAs, and process improvement.
  • Review & Empower: Oversee escalated credit decisions while coaching your team to grow their expertise and confidence.
  • Drive Workflow Efficiency: Ensure smooth and effective workflow management across teams.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with internal stakeholders to enhance credit operations and customer outcomes.

About You:

  • Management experience in the Mortgage Industry
  • Experience in Home Loans and Consumer Lending
  • Strong people leadership and engagement skills
  • Proven ability to adapt to change and lead through transformation
  • Deep understanding of credit systems, SLAs, and compliance
  • A valid Delegated Lending Authority
