We focus deeply on data-related areas, working extensively with AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and other modern data platform technologies, using the latest tools, patterns, practices, and reference architectures.
Our teams are located in Melbourne and Sydney, and we continue to grow by winning repeat projects with both new and existing customers who trust us as an extension of their in-house data, analytics, and machine learning teams.
Job Description As an Account Executive at The Data Foundry, based in Melbourne, you will significantly impact our success in Victoria.
You will demonstrate exceptional sales skills across the full sales cycle, from captivating presentations and crafting statements of work to delivering tender responses and securing government supplier panel spots.
You will own the entire sales process, from prospecting to follow-up on customer purchase orders and invoices, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout.
Your responsibilities include: Researching, validating, and securing strategic new business and expanding within existing customer organizations to meet revenue goals.
Building and maintaining a reliable sales pipeline.
Using our pipeline management tools effectively.
Understanding customer objectives and decision-making processes to forge long-lasting partnerships.
Collaborating with the Managing Director to execute sales strategies and meet revenue targets through honest and accurate communication.
Qualifications Minimum 5 years of sales or sales support experience, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas and maintaining a robust pipeline.
Based in Melbourne with Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency.
Background in Technology and/or Data.
Strong ability to drive revenue growth through customer-focused sales management.
Experience in identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities.
Familiarity with CRM or similar tools.
Experience selling cloud or data solutions/services.
Energetic, extroverted, customer-focused team player.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative, fast-growing environment.
Motivated by new challenges and proactive in growing our Victorian business sustainably.
