Job Title: Safety and Compliance Manager

This role is responsible for leading the safety and compliance department, providing guidance on safety and compliance to local management teams and corporate organizations.

The Safety and Compliance Manager reports directly to the Senior Manager, Safety and Compliance - APAC. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

  • Lead the development and implementation of safety and compliance strategies and programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of safety and compliance initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to employees on safety and compliance matters.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in an operational environment, preferably in aviation or a related field.

Accredited training in aviation safety management disciplines, such as ICAO Annex 19.

Incident investigator qualification and lead auditor qualification are desirable.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

University degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as aviation or business administration.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Working knowledge of quality tools and ICAO Annex 19.

Experience in incident investigation and reporting.

Knowledge of MS Office software and ability to learn new systems quickly.
