Exploration Geologist

Add expected salary to your profile for insights Pantoro is seeking an experienced Exploration Geologist to join the expanding team at the Norseman Gold Project.
You will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of exploration activities and resource development projects on the tenement package under the control of Pantoro Gold.
The Exploration Geologist provides geological support to exploration, mining and production.8/6 FIFO Roster from Perth.
DIDO Kalgoorlie or Esperance etc and residential.
Key Responsibilities:· Supervision of surface drilling programs and the logging of drill chips and diamond drill core, monitoring core quality, presentation and contractor performance.· Compilation and Distribution of daily, weekly and monthly reports, accurately and within time frames.· Surface geological mapping, sampling and compilation of plans.· Design of project exploration programs, geophysical, Geochem, drilling and other techniques· Geological interpretation, including updating of existing geological models and creation of new wire frames· Incorporating all available geological data to inform geological interpretations· Monitor exploration programs, ensuring safety, technical quality and protocols are maintained.
Upgrade sample protocols as required.· Management of program site rehabilitation and reporting.· Mentoring and training of graduate geologists About You Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Applied Science (BApp Sc) majoring in geology2+ Years experience in exploration roles (preferred)Gold experience preferred.
Manual Drivers Licence National Police Clearance About the Project Pantoro's 100% owned Norseman Gold Project is a new fully operational gold mining operation which includes a 1 million tonne per annum processing plant and two operating high grade underground mines.
The project has achieved six successive quarters of production growth and is in a prolific goldfield with a large pipeline of ore sources and exploration targets to ensure long life and future expansion options.
The project is 725km East of Perth and 200km south of Kalgoorlie.
The project has a current mineral Resource of 4.5 M ounces with many of the defined resources open along strike and at depth.
Existing mine life is approaching 10 years.
