Description: Premium Tier Lounge Cairns Domestic & International Airport Mainly Monday to Friday, some nights and weekends required High volume, providing 5 star guest experience across all lounge touch points Compass Group Australia's dedicated Airline Lounge business delivers specialist services to meet the needs of travellers across lounge industries.

THE POSITION Managing an Executive Premium Class Lounge at Cairns International & Domestic Airport Delivering across catering, cleaning and concierge services Be a "hands on" leader, ensuring the smooth functional flow of our venues.
Effectively manage the cost of goods and implement stock control systems within the workplace.
Monthly financial & budgetary reporting identify opportunities to streamline business needs.
Ensure effective development and utilisation of professional knowledge and skills are shared across the team.
Lead, motivate and develop your team.
Maintain exceptional customer service and exceed client expectations.
Actively develop and execute strategies to reduce labour turnover.
Continue to build, develop and enhance client relationship.
THE PERSON Proven track record in high-end hospitality delivery, managing bar, catering, front desk (hosts), and cleaning teams in fast-paced environments Strong analytical skills, successfully managing budgets, prioritising spend, driving profit, and identifying cost efficiencies Excellent communication and personal skills, evidence of building successful business relationships at senior executive level Strong and decisive leadership skills with ability to build effective, engaged, and motivated teams In depth understanding of hospitality and food safety standards Hospitality or Business qualifications well regarded Knowledgeable in risk assessment and food hygiene (level 3 preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Office, capable of managing resources and P&L in line with targets THE BENEFITS Career Growth – Unlock your potential with our career pathway and my learning programs within Compass Group.
