If you're driven by purpose and excited to be part of something bigger, we'd love to have you on the journey.About the role:Provide leadership across the Roma Power Station teams to ensure the plant and equipment are maintained and operated safely and efficiently to deliver industry leading flexible, reliable, and cost-effective power generation in line with our customers' needs.Bring your Electrical experience to ensure best practice prioritising, planning, integrating, and organising all aspects of all activities of the site team, contractors and support functions to ensure alignment and deliver upon of the strategy and business commitments.Key responsibilities:Lead and manage the continuous improvement strategies across site and within the team.
Leadership of station operation and maintenance activities, bringing an experienced Electrical context.
Ensure Roma operates within all licenses and permits, policies and procedures with particular attention to Health Safety and Environment on Site including emergency response.
Ongoing technical training and development of managers, operations and maintenance personnel.
Assist in managing RPS EBIT performance, budget and capital investment to meet targets.
Lead and model behaviours which are consistently recognisable as being aligned to Origin's values and Behaviours and Leadership code.
What will you bring?Senior management experience within the power generation industry (High Voltage), principally with either combined cycle, large conventional, or co-generation assets or similar manufacturing/process industry.
Relevant trade qualifications or engineering degree including an Electrical Licence.
Experience and knowledge of the National Electricity Market requirements and industry regulatory authorities.
Proven track record in HS&E procedures management and compliance Extensive asset management experience and knowledge.
Management and coordination of projects, plant budgets and financial systems.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
Team Leadership experience is essential.
