This position is open to both FIFO and residential candidates.

Roster: 10 days on, 4 days off, 12.5 hours per day (including unpaid meal breaks)Location: Kalgoorlie – residential or FIFO from Perth Key Responsibilities: Supervise a team of 12+ technicians and apprentices, ensuring quality service repairs and aftermarket support for mining, BCI, and underground equipment Manage work order scheduling, execution, and compliance with Wes Trac and Caterpillar standards Provide warranty support, liaising with clients to resolve issues and maintain relationships Enforce safety protocols and conduct risk assessments to promote a safe work environment Utilize CAT systems (SIS) and Microsoft Office (Excel) for job tracking, reporting, and documentation Lead and develop team culture through coaching, mentoring, and leadership Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Heavy Duty trade professional with supervisory experience in mechanical or dealership settings Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams Strong understanding of OH&S protocols and risk management in high-risk environments Effective planning and time management skills to handle dynamic workloads Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement with a customer-first approach Proficiency in computer systems for job tracking and reporting Benefits include but are not limited to: Financial: Paid Parental Leave, Salary Sacrificing, Novated Leasing, Income Protection, retail discounts Health & Wellness: BUPA discounts, Fitness Passport, EAP support Career Development: Recognition programs, internal progression, training through Wes Trac Institute Additional Perks: Referral bonuses, Emergency Services Leave, Defence Reserves Leave, Employee Share Purchase Plan About Wes Trac: With over 4,500 employees, Wes Trac is a leading authorized Caterpillar dealer offering mining and construction equipment and solutions.
