Job Description:

Glen Eira Leisure is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Finance and Administration Team Leader to join the fun and dynamic team at Glen Eira Sports and Aquatic Centre in Bentleigh East.The Finance and Administration Team Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating the membership administration processes and for providing financial management support to Council's Finance department.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the membership database is debited accurately and successfully each fortnight.
  • Financial reporting to GEL Management and Council's Finance Department.
  • Reporting and reviewing of monthly and end-of-day reconciliations of Online payments.
  • Auditing of member data prior to processing debits
  • Develop and update staff training manuals, work instructions and training sessions for work systems.
Job Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of the accounting and reporting functions of Perfect Gym software (desirable)
  • Understanding of membership administration processes with a customer centric focus
  • Proven finance support experience
  • Demonstrated commitment and adherence to organisational values and behaviours and experience in the delivery of high quality customer service.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • Current First Aid Level 2 and CPR qualifications (or willing to obtain)
