PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The role of Sales & Distribution Coordinator is pivotal in supporting the TV Distribution Sales team in Sydney. Responsibilities include maintaining the Sales Forecasting system (SMART) and coordinating the distribution of broadcast materials for upcoming licenses.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Coordination
  • Manage the SMART forecasting database efficiently.
  • Participate in budgeting projects.
  • Prepare quarterly SMART reports for Contract Admin tracking.
  • Coordinate non-scripted and factual product rights and availability.
  • Maintain sales reports and calendars regularly.
  • Develop and update product availability and rights requests.
  • Conduct sales history reports and analysis.
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure effective sales processes.
  • Provide general sales assistance and project support.
  • Organize Sales team travel, expenses, and admin tasks.
Distribution Coordination
  • Proactively manage the distribution of telecast materials for the ANZ region.
  • Coordinate day/date delivery when required.
  • Ensure timely delivery of Scripts, Closed Caption Files & Music Cues.
  • Update Marketing team on upcoming license periods.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Tech Ops team for Technical Specifications.
  • Onboard new clients to WB Vendor systems as needed.
General
  • Build strong relationships with the Executive Sales and Marketing team.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting as necessary.
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant media industry experience.
  • Previous sales and/or distribution coordination experience preferred.
  • Understanding of sales contracts and distribution technical specifications beneficial.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Experience in SAP and Adobe Photoshop desired.
  • Effective communication skills with all stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Team player with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment under tight deadlines.
  • Results-oriented and proactive.
  • Capable of maintaining confidentiality.
