I have several contract opportunities at the moment for experienced senior Policy Officers and Cabinet & Parliamentary Support Officers with government background and sound policy, briefings and ministerial support skills. If this is YOU, please read on.

Various duties and responsibilities include:

Updating of existing policies, reviewing against existing and/or new legislationDevelopment and writing of new policies Leading research and analysis to inform policy papers and consultation materialManaging the preparation of internal and ministerial briefings, reports and policy discussion papersPreparation of parliamentary briefings and cabinet submissions General administration and/or project support duties Ideally you will possess: Experience with policy development and legislation within governmentAn ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and/or remotelySound research and analytical skills to apply judgment and advice on important issuesExtensive stakeholder engagement and ability to provide advice on complex matters to the executive and the ministerGovernment experience and/or legal background is highly desirable How to Apply:
