Sports Administrator and Operations Manager

Oryx People Automotive is looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead our team.
About the RoleThis highly varied and hands-on role reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for the coordination and management of in-season and off-season events and activities.
The successful candidate will have the ability to lead and engage a diverse range of stakeholders, experience in sports administration, and commercial and business acumen to deliver against strategic and financial objectives.
We are seeking someone with strong communication skills and an understanding of a range of communication channels, including social media.
The General Manager will be responsible for managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and activities, and will be required to undertake background checks, including a Current Working with Children check.
Key Responsibilities- Coordination and management of in-season and off-season events and activities;
- Management of all operations within budget and maximizing Club revenue and profit for a financially sustainable future;
- Creating multiple communication channels to showcase the Club and its sponsors to the club's members and broader community.
- An ability to lead and engage a diverse range of stakeholders;
- Experience in sports administration;
- Commercial and business acumen to deliver against strategic and financial objectives;
- Strong communication skills and an understanding of a range of communication channels including social media;
- Capability in managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and activities;
- Undertake background checks including Current Working with Children check;
- Valid Driver's License.
