Qualtrics is seeking a proactive and collaborative Employee Relations Specialist to join our team in Provo. This role involves fostering positive relationships between employees and the organization by serving as a communication bridge, managing employee issues, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. The primary goal is to cultivate a harmonious work environment and address any conflicts or concerns raised by employees.
How You Can Succeed

- Assist managers in promoting a performance-driven culture through coaching, coordinating talent programs, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with and advise leadership on people-related strategies, organizational design, workforce planning, and talent enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and concerns professionally and according to company policies and legal mandates.
- Offer guidance on HR policies, procedures, and labor laws while addressing employee inquiries.
- Design and execute employee engagement activities to enhance the work environment.
- Maintain updated knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and company policies for legal compliance.
- Work with managers to handle performance issues and provide guidance on necessary actions.
- Mediate employee conflicts using impartiality and mediation skills to find resolutions.
- Maintain accurate employee relations records with strict adherence to privacy guidelines.
Qualifications on Your Resume
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in employee relations or similar HR roles.
- In-depth understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Strong business acumen and ability to navigate complex corporate structures.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and adept at managing multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in HRIS/HCM software.
