All about the role (job content; purpose of the role)

The Grocery, Convenience, and other Retail Verticals are high-priority sectors with significant growth potential. The purpose of this role is to support the expansion of Menulog's business in various retail segments in Australia. The main focus is to assist in increasing Menulog's market penetration and share by supporting the development of business with key corporate accounts and optimising performance through effective account and operational management.

Key Responsibilities

Support Menulog's Retail and DaaS business development efforts

  • Identify potential partners, outbound, conduct discovery, and set up pitch meetings
  • Support National Account / Business Managers with progressing potential partners through the sales cycle
  • Facilitate a smooth onboarding process to Go-Live.

Support the performance and engagement of Menulog's key Retail accounts

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners
  • Effective account and operational management
  • Support National Account / Business Manager with Commercial and Category management
  • Track performance and provide regular reports.

Effectively collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to secure the support needed to be effective

  • Build strong cross functional relationships
  • Effectively communicate and secure alignment on the sales and account initiatives
  • Foster a collaborative culture.

Can you deliver...

  • At least 2 years of sales experience, including at a Sales Executive level
  • A track record of successfully working with tier one partners (e.g. Woolworth Group, Endeavour Group, Chemist Warehouse, Petbarn etc.)
  • Retail quick commerce experience is a bonus
  • Key attributes: driven, self motivated, resilient, result oriented, entrepreneurial, resourceful, flexible, passionate and professional
  • Tertiary degree qualification in a relevant field (Business / Marketing) preferred.
