Purchasing Specialist

Randstad's procurement and supply chain specialist, Hayley Wilson, is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to enhance the procurement capabilities of our client based in Perth.

As a member of the procurement team, this role involves engaging in strategic sourcing, purchasing, and expediting a diverse array of goods and services

Key responsibilities include:

Engaging in the purchasing and sourcing of a wide range of categories, predominantly goods and some services.Overseeing the management of existing preferred suppliers, fostering mutually beneficial relationships, and driving added value for both the organisation and its customers.Collaborate with manufacturers, contractors, suppliers, project stakeholders to achieve commercial success.Analysis and reporting of supplier performance, supply chain risks and procurement activities to identify long term opportunities for improvement and savings.Leading key commercial negotiations and ensuring true partnership is achieved with your suppliers.Providing a high level of stakeholder engagement with internal customers, and demonstrating superior relationship management and influencing skills with external parties. Key requirements include: An in-depth level of procurement and contract management from any large commercial industry such as utilities, engineering, mining, construction, oil and gas or similar.You will be an outcome focused professional, passionate about delivering excellence in contemporary procurement and project outcomes.This role is based in Perth, Western Australia.
