The Role:

We are seeking a Sales Training Manager to embed sales excellence and develop our sales teams to win new business and partner effectively with our existing customers. In this dynamic and collaborative role, you will assess training needs, conduct in-field coaching, and execute training plans to enhance the effectiveness and productivity of the sales team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Determine sales training needs in collaboration with Sales Managers.
  • Develop and deliver targeted and comprehensive sales training content and materials.
  • Evaluate Territory Managers sales skills in field, identify knowledge or skill gaps, and provide feedback to the individual and manager.
  • Educate Sales Managers on selling and coaching processes.
  • Support the development plan of new Territory Managers within their first six months.
  • Implement standard sales processes for product launches and national sales conferences.
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Research latest market trends and demands within the corporate sales landscape to ensure training relevance and competitiveness.

To Succeed:

  • Minimum three years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Training.
  • Experience in setting up and implementing sales training programs across a large organisation.
  • Strong track record of in-field coaching and training.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM databases.
  • Highly effective communicator.
  • Ability to support and lead a team through others.
  • Determined to create successful individuals and teams.
  • Respectful and able to manage different personalities.
  • Highly structured with strong attention to detail.
  • Naturally open and curious.
