Senior Project Engineer - TFNSW Projects

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer with previous experience working on large TFNSW Projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the construction and maintenance of roads, highways, and intersections to ensure they are safe and efficient for the public.

This Top tier contractor has been delivering major infrastructure projects across NSW for the past 16 years. They specialise in Roads & Bridges, Concrete Structures, Tunnels, Rail, Communications, Electrical, Water and Traffic Management. They have been working directly for Transport NSW for the past 5 years, from remote areas to major urban projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the construction and maintenance of roads, highways, and intersectionsEnsure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standardsMonitor and report on the progress of projects and make adjustments as necessaryCommunicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of projectsPlan and schedule work, and allocate resources to meet project objectivesProvide guidance and training to junior staff and contractorsCoordinate and participate in safety meetings and inspectionsDevelop and maintain project budgets and schedulesDevelop project specifications and design plans Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in road maintenance and intersection managementExperience in civil engineering and constructionStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standardsExperience with scheduling and budgeting for projectsRelevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or related fieldProven experience as a Senior Project Engineer or similar role They offer a competitive salary, benefits and opportunities for growth and development within the company.
