In addition to reception duties, this role also involves supporting team projects, community engagement activities, event management, and maintaining office supplies. What you'll do:

  • Provide professional reception service for telephone enquiries and visitors
  • Respond to all routine inquiries in a timely manner
  • Support with team projects and community engagement activities
  • Maintain stationery and general office supplies
  • Assist with event management activities with various external clients
  • Supervise and provide routine assistance to students using the facilities

What you bring:

  • Education, training or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of an associate diploma qualification
  • Proven success in providing high quality front-line customer services
  • Demonstrated digital literacy including the ability to use large corporate systems
  • Ability to apply reasoning, judgement and analytical skills in resolving routine issues

Please note this role is open to Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islander people. For this position, it is a genuine occupational requirement that it be filled by an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person as permitted by and arguable under sections 25, 104 and 105 of the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act
